The Oasys blockchain game ecosystem announced its partnership with non-custodial asset bridging provider Celer to launch support for bridging the USDC standard on the Oasys blockchain, aiming to provide a potential upgrade path from bridged USDC to native USDC for eligible blockchains. Within the Oasys ecosystem, a new deployment of bridged USDC that follows the Circle standard will be provided to all developers and users. Starting today, the new bridged USDC will be called 'Bridged USDC (Celer)' with the token symbol 'USDC.e', and it will be supported at a 1:1 ratio by the USDC locked in Ethereum-based smart contracts.
