ChainCatcher news reports that, according to Cointelegraph, the controversial site 4chan has resumed operations after being hacked on April 14. The /Biz/ zone of this forum has been an important gathering place for the Crypto Assets community and has had a significant impact on the market. 4chan's most notable influence in the crypto assets space includes driving the massive rise of Chainlink (LINK), which surged from $1.80 at the beginning of 2020 to an all-time high of $49.54 in 2021. Additionally, after the Pepe the Frog meme became popular on the platform, the related token PEPE's market capitalization skyrocketed from $591 million at the beginning of 2024 to $11 billion.
