Shytoshi Kusama Breaks Long Silence, Here’s Big Announcement

• Top SHIB dev corrects Vitalik Buterin regarding SHIB The mysterious SHIB lead known to the community under the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama has emerged from the silent mode after almost a month of absence on social media.

The last time he issued an X post was June 13 and he was gone since then until July 1. He came back to send a major teaser to the SHIB army about this summer month that has just begun.

Kusama stuns with JUL-AI teaser

Back in June, Shytoshi Kusama teased the SHIB community with an “upcoming AI-focused whitepaper” and mentioning an AI strategy the SHIB team had been busy developing for months.

On July 1, Kusama intrigued the community by referring to July as “JUL-AI,” saying the SHIB army should get ready for multiple announcements in July.

He tweeted: “Prepare for many announcements, releases, and discussions around everything we've built thus far and where we see the future going.”

Kusama also published an AI-generated video, which looks very similar to Star Wars, The Revenge of the Syth movie. It says: “It all started in January. February came and went. March. April. May. Then… Something changed. June made the world pause for 12 days. But now it is time for July. JUL-AI.”

Earlier this year, the SHIB team rolled out the Layer-3 solution called Alpha Layer running it on top of the Shibarium network.

Top SHIB dev corrects Vitalik Buterin regarding SHIB

On July 1, the right-hand man of Kusama and also a top SHIB developer, Kaal Dhairya, responded to Vitalik Buterin’s recent post about the Crypto Relief initiative that emerged in India in 2020. Buterin thanked the former Binance CEO and his friend, CZ, for donating $10 million worth of BNB to support certain bio-tech initiatives that help prevent airborne viruses.

Dhairya reminded Vitalik that Crypto Relief was largely funded with trillions of SHIB given to Buterin as a present by the SHIB founder Ryoshi in 2020, which Vitalik (most of that 500 trillion) donated to support Crypto Relief which was created to fight the pandemic.

The SHIB developer tweeted: “Since @VitalikButerin forgot to mention the billions in #SHIB tokens that actually funded @CryptoRelief_, let me help complete his tweet.”
