According to Mars Finance, on May 5, U.S. President Donald Trump clearly stated in a television interview that aired on May 4 local time that he does not seek to continue serving as president after his current term ends. In the NBC television program "Meet the Press," Trump specifically mentioned Vice President James Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, considering them rising stars within the Republican Party who are expected to inherit the conservative mantle and continue to advance the "Make America Great Again (MAGA)" policy agenda.
