Odaily Daily Planet News According to Cyvers Alerts monitoring, Base Network today saw multiple suspicious transactions involving unverified lending contracts, with the attacker initially making a suspicious transaction, profiting about 993,000 US dollars from these unverified contracts. Most of these tokens were crossed to the ETH chain, with about 202,000 US dollars deposited into Tornado Cash. The attacker used the same vulnerability to obtain an additional 455,000 US dollars. The root cause seems to be manipulating the price of WETH through excessive borrowing and lending.
