Donald Trump's emphasis on the continuation of tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico had increased selling pressure in the crypto market.
The XRP price reacted negatively to these developments and had experienced a loss of approximately 22% between 24-25 February. This loss was quite high for a coin with such a high market value. BTC had experienced approximately 8% loss, while ETH had experienced approximately 12% loss.
