We first take the tokens from Pump.fun, which are ranked in the top 1000 in terms of Market Cap, as the research objects, and obtain the creation time points of the tokens as follows. Where 'creation time point 0' equals the creation time of the token from 0:00 to 1:00 Taipei time, and so on. From the graph, it can be clearly seen that after 9:00 p.m., the frequency of gold dog starts from 2% and rises to 4%, and keeps rising, reaching its peak from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m., and then falls back to 2%-3% in the morning.

To verify whether this rule is correct, we expanded the scope of the study by adding tokens from Market Cap TOP 200 and Market Cap TOP 2000, in order to make it more intuitive, and added a bar chart as follows. It can be seen that for Market Cap TOP 2000 tokens, the frequency of the appearance of the gold dog starts to increase significantly after 9 pm, and it also has a significant advantage from 3 am to 6 am.

Is there still a chance to miss the night?

For most users, it is difficult to buy at the first peak during the early morning dog trading. Does that mean there is no chance if you miss the first wave? The author calculated the time intervals from the creation to the first peak of the top 20 tokens, and the results are shown in the figure below. It took an average of 52.7 hours to reach the first peak from fermentation, while it took an average of 58.7 days to reach the current status of the top 20. This shows that even if you miss the opening, there is still plenty of time to get on board.

For Tokens that are not in the ranking, you can obtain the creation time through the front-end API for inquiry. The last transaction in the API is the dev's initial purchase transaction, through which you can obtain the creation time of the Token.
