Major Problems on the Solana Network: Explanation for the Reason Has Arrived! - Coin Newsletter

The Solana (SOL) network, which has become the home of meme coins, is experiencing serious problems due to overcrowding.

According to data from on-chain analytics platform Dune, there was a severe congestion on the Solana network on April 5. On the same day, the transaction failure rate on the network increased to a negligible 76.8%.

The reason for this blockage was the spam movements of a large number of arbitrage bots. Solana network developer team Anza has announced that it will be testing a patch to fix the current network congestion.

In the details of the announcement made by the team on social media, it was emphasized that significant progress has been made in resolving the existing issues, and that the fixes will be implemented within the next week:

Significant progress has been made to address the current congestion issues, and we expect to begin rolling out fixes next week. Collaborating with other key contributors, we analyzed the root cause and assessed a variety of potential changes.

Especially on the Solana network, new meme coins are released almost every second** and millions of bots programmed to profit from these meme coins continue to create an avalanche of traffic flow on the network.
