Recent Registrations for Spot Bitcoin ETF Give Bulls Hope - Coin Bulletin

Issuers seeking to establish a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) in the U.S. filed new registrations with the SEC yesterday.

Documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) show that Ark 21Shares, Valkyrie, VanEck, and Grayscale have filed current 8-A filings with the SEC.

Thanks to these records, issuers will be able to start trading on the stock exchanges if the applications are approved. Recently, Fidelity made a similar record.

The cryptocurrency community is eagerly awaiting the SEC's decision on ETFs. According to FOX Business, the SEC may begin notifying issuers as early as Friday as to whether their applications will be approved.

Bloomberg analysts, who think there is a 90% chance that the applications will be accepted, expect the official decision to be announced on January 8-10.

BlackRock, which registered at the end of December, chose Jane Street Capital and JP Morgan Securities LLC as authorized participants in the fund.
