A statement came from the founder of the giant investment company, who recently moved away from the world of crypto money.
Paradigm, a research-driven technology investment firm focused on cryptocurrencies and related technologies, has brought back the word “crypto” after briefly removing it from its website.
Matt Huang, the firm's founder, said in a statement that the removal was "silly" and "a mistake". He added that Paradigm never left the crypto space, but is now fully back.
Founded by Fred Ehrsam in 2018, Paradigm has invested in many major crypto projects such as Uniswap, MakerDAO, Compound, and Optimism.
Huang didn't explain why the word "crypto" was removed from the website in the first place, but some speculate it was a move to avoid regulatory scrutiny or appeal to a wider range of investors.
