Mobility has peaked with the announcement of a new service called Ethscriptions in the Ethereum NFT ecosystem. The NFT trend, which started with Bitcoin Ordinals, led to similar developments in other networks. But now Ethscriptions for Ethereum has quickly become a popular NFT service.
The Bitcoin NFT ecosystem has grown rapidly since January. The platform called Ordinals brought many new NFT collections to investors. It was also determined that Ordinals outperformed all networks as the highest volume NFT collection. Now, Ethscriptions, a new NFT protocol for Ethereum users, has been announced and has attracted great attention.
Ethscriptions offers a different approach from Ordinals by using transaction call data. While the data is written to the Ethereum network, the file size is limited to 96 KB. Currently only image files are allowed, but broader usage is expected in the future.
While this protocol allows the generation of NFTs below the network's contract costs, Ethscriptions has already received a lot of attention. Nearly 30,000 Ethscriptions were created in just under 18 hours. Additionally, Ethscriptions stood out by rising to number one in OpenSea trends.
