Apple and the details of its "largest investment in the United States"
📱 Apple will invest an additional 100 billion dollars in the United States, raising its total commitment to 600 billion dollars over the next four years, as announced on Wednesday by U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Apple will massively increase spending on its domestic supply chain," Trump added, highlighting a new glass production plant for iPhone screens in Kentucky.
💵 The CEO of the tech giant, Tim Cook, described the announcement as "the largest investment that Apple has made in the United States. Just this year, American manufacturers are on track to produce 19 billion chips for Apple in 24 factories across 12 different states," he emphasized.
