The reason why the crypto and stock markets are dumping lately.

1. Verbal exchange between Russia and America: Recently, the verbal exchange has escalated between Russia and America to the point that former Russian President Medvedev told Trump that 'you remember the kind of danger that Dead Hand has.'

Dead Hand is a system that will automatically launch nuclear weapons if the President of Russia is killed.

Hearing this threat is what made Trump send a nuclear submarine near the Russian region.

This has led to the collapse of the alliance that they started for a small gathering, which has never been an alliance that would last.

2. Tariffs that Trump imposed on 60 countries yesterday: Trump announced trade tariffs on 60 countries yesterday, including India, Canada, Brazil, Taiwan, etc.

3. US job reports: There was a slight increase in new jobs in the US, where the reports indicated a limit of 73,000, lower than expected.

4. Interest rate: The lack of a reduced interest rate has led to a decline in the crypto and stock markets as I mentioned in my previous writing.

Then the Bank of Japan raised interest rates by 50bps, which is the first time in 17 years.

5. BRICS: Due to the increased pressure from the countries leading the BRICS coalition, they may collaborate to respond to the tariffs imposed on them by Trump’s government.

Yesterday, Trump urged countries around the world to stop buying oil from Russia, including India, or face increased trade tariffs. However, today one of the officials from the Indian government confirmed that India will not stop purchasing oil from its ally Russia.

6. History: On a day like today, 02/08/2024, the previous year we experienced a stock market crash where it fell by $2.9 Trillion dollars in less than 24 hours.

These factors that I have listed are among the reasons for the decline of the crypto market and the stock market last week, where there was a liquidation of $1.1 trillion in the stock market, while the crypto market experienced a liquidation of over $800 million in less than 24 hours.
