Global Money Supply per Bitcoin Hits Highest Record in 12 Years
The global liquidity ratio to the supply of Bitcoin (BTC) has reached its highest point in the last 12 years, surpassing US$5.7 million for every circulating Bitcoin. This increase indicates that the amount of money circulating globally far exceeds the growth of the limited Bitcoin supply.
According to the latest report from ARK Investment, this trend may continue as the supply of Bitcoin continues to shrink over time, while the amount of global liquidity continues to increase.
"Given the dwindling supply of Bitcoin and the increasing amount of money circulating in the world, this ratio is likely to continue rising," ARK wrote in its report.
On the other hand, data as of June 30, 2025, from Glassnode and TradingView shows that the global M2 ratio to Bitcoin supply is at its peak since 2012. This phenomenon strengthens analysts' optimistic views on the future of this major crypto asset.
The ARK party also expressed its positive view regarding this condition. They stated that the signal "indicates strong bullish potential," although they still remind that such projections have limitations and cannot be guaranteed as future investment outcomes.
