Solana ecosystem DePIN monthly income hits a new high, core projects perform outstandingly.
Solana DePIN track monthly revenue hits a record high, major projects perform brilliantly
The Solana ecosystem's DePIN sector performed remarkably in April, with a monthly total revenue of $458,000, a year-on-year increase of 33%, setting the best record of the year so far. This growth is mainly attributed to the stable development of several core projects.
Although overall revenue has increased, the number of active contributors has slightly declined. The total number of active contributors for major projects remains around 87,000. Notably, the number of contributors for small DePIN protocols has seen significant growth, with some projects experiencing growth rates exceeding 100%. In contrast, the number of contributors for large projects has remained stable or slightly declined.
The following is an overview of the performance of major DePIN projects:
Dabba Network
This is a DePIN project aimed at the Indian market, deploying Wi-Fi hotspots in collaboration with local operators. From March to April, its cumulative data consumption doubled to 8000 TB, and device sales increased by 29%.
Helium Mobile
As a virtual mobile network operator, Helium Mobile saw a 125% surge in new subscribers after launching a free plan, reaching 36,000 users. Monthly revenue hit a new high of $250,000, with data offloading accounting for 79%. The average daily offload subscription volume and data volume increased by 65% and 32%, respectively.
XNET
The decentralized mobile network performed robustly in April. The average daily uninstall rate increased by 16%, continuing an upward trend for 8 months. Despite the reduction in rewards, active contributors still grew by 6%, reaching a historic high of 732 people.
Roam
In April, 535,000 new WiFi nodes and 87,000 users were added, bringing the total number of nodes close to 4 million and the number of users to nearly 3 million. Although the monthly check-in volume decreased by 19%, the cumulative check-in count surpassed 300 million, indicating that user engagement remains very strong.
Shaga
This protocol, which utilizes idle GPU computing power to support Web3 games, currently covers 74 GPU models. In two months, it achieved 4,500 interactive game live streams, with a total duration of 50,000 hours.
Hivello
As a DePIN aggregation platform, the online duration in April doubled compared to last month, with more nodes joining the network to contribute resources.
Nosana
The decentralized GPU computing network saw a slight increase in job completion volume and contributor rewards in April, while the number of GPU nodes remained stable. The newly launched AI collaboration project is expected to drive further growth.
Sallar.io
By connecting idle computing power from devices such as smartphones to a distributed computing network, the dollar rewards in April increased by 27%, reaching $11,800, while the number of active wallets remained stable.
Grass
This project, which provides data sources for AI training and others, has set a new record for data collection in April, reaching 34.5 million GB.
Wingbits
The DePIN project based on aviation data collection has tracked the number of flights to 150,000 since last November, with daily data points collected increasing to 9 billion, representing increases of 7% and 29%, respectively. The number of contribution sites has increased by 43%, reaching 3,000.
Hivemapper
The decentralized mapping network maintained stable development in April, with a steady monthly mapping mileage. The AI platform Beekeeper for fleet management has officially launched, expected to bring new growth momentum. The number of active map contributors remains around 5,000.
NATIX Network
The project collects geographic data through smart devices, with user driving mileage maintaining at 11 million kilometers for the third consecutive month in April.
Sourceful Energy
The decentralized virtual power plant project saw a 30% increase in electricity output in April. The newly launched smart energy efficiency analysis devices received 500 pre-orders, and the growth momentum is expected to continue.
AmbiosNetwork
The world's largest environmental monitoring DePIN has seen a cumulative user data check-in of over 2 million times in April, an increase of 12%. The total number of platform users has risen to 45,000, a year-on-year growth of 2%.
Overall, the DePIN track of the Solana ecosystem shows a good development trend, with remarkable performances from projects in various subfields. With technological advancements and an increase in user awareness, this track is expected to continue its growth momentum in the future.
