The Bitcoin 2025 Conference held in Las Vegas marked a historic turning point in the United States' cryptocurrency policies.
The Strategic Bitcoin Reserve established by the executive order signed by President Donald Trump has initiated the digital gold era with the United States' asset of 200,000 BTC.
Vice President JD Vance emphasized in his speech at the conference that regulations on the crypto sector will be relaxed and stablecoins will be incorporated into a legal framework.
Additionally, the Trump administration's dropping of lawsuits against certain companies has increased confidence in the sector.
The Trump family has also stepped into the world of crypto.
Eric and Donald Trump Jr. stated that they turned to cryptocurrency mining because they could not obtain loans from traditional banks.
Trump Media & Technology Group's plan for a $2.5 billion investment in Bitcoin has also attracted attention.
These developments highlight the United States' goal of strengthening its leadership in the cryptocurrency sector.
However, market reactions are mixed; the price of Bitcoin fell by 2.2% to $107,800 during the conference.
