According to Mars Finance, on May 4th, Arizona Senator Wendy Rogers responded to the rejection of her proposed Bitcoin reserve bill, stating that she will re-submit the proposal in the next legislative session.
Rogers emphasized: "It is Arizona that needs Bitcoin - not Bitcoin that needs Arizona," and warned that the state has missed the opportunity to establish a first-mover advantage. She pointed out the strategic value of Bitcoin as an inflation hedge and stated that she would push for legislation to make Arizona the first in the nation to incorporate Bitcoin into its state financial reserves.
Rogers emphasized: "Arizona needs Bitcoin — not Bitcoin needs Arizona," and warned that the state missed the opportunity to establish a first-mover advantage.
