Bitfarms plans to place 50% of its future Computing Power in Pennsylvania and develop AI business by 2026

Odaily Planet Daily News BTC mining company Bitfarms CEO Ben Gagnon said in an interview that Bitfarms plans to acquire Stronghold Digital and place 50% of its future Computing Power in Pennsylvania. He also discussed how the new portfolio in Pennsylvania provides Bitfarms with options to enter the energy trading business and the strategic plan for Bitfarms to enter the artificial intelligence/high-performance computing business by 2026. (Blockspace) Earlier news, Bitfarms announced the final merger protocol with Stronghold Digital Mining, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. According to the protocol, Bitfarms will acquire Stronghold through a stock-for-stock merger transaction.
