Important Development for XRP: A Company Will Bring a Feature Found in Many Other Altcoins!
The crypto finance platform Uphold is preparing to implement a plan concerning the XRP community.
The company announced in a post made on X (, formerly known as Twitter), that it is exploring ways to offer yield opportunities for XRP and has started staking tests through the Flare Network.
Uphold stated that more information regarding the test process will be shared soon.
Uphold launched its self-custody wallet Vault with XRP support at the end of 2023. Flare Network is known as an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain aiming to enhance cross-chain interoperability and data accessibility. With the launch of USDT0, the cross-chain version of the USDT stablecoin on Flare, the total locked value on the platform rose rapidly to (TVL).
The company also announced that it plans to re-launch the Uphold crypto debit card, which is currently only available in the United Kingdom, in the United States.
In March, Uphold restarted staking rewards for 19 different digital assets, including Ethereum, Solana, and NEAR, for its US users.
The company also announced that it will offer US users a 4% cashback with the "Direct Payment" feature using XRP, and that a 5% reward can be earned through RLUSD ( Ripple USD stablecoin ).
