Bank of America: The Central Bank of the United Kingdom seems unlikely to signal a faster rate cut at the March meeting

Jinshi data, March 12th, US bank analysts said in a report that the Central Bank of the United Kingdom is unlikely to imply in the next decision on March 20 that the speed of future interest rate cuts will be faster. The US bank said: "In the face of increasing uncertainty and high data dependence, we expect gradual and cautious guidance." LSEG data shows that the market expects a 92% chance that the Central Bank of the United Kingdom will maintain the Interest Rate at 4.50% on March 20. US bank analysts expect the Central Bank of the United Kingdom to cut interest rates three times in 2025, once in 2026, and ultimately the Interest Rate will fall to 3.5%.
