Abstract generation in progress

On January 28th, OpenAI announced the launch of its largest product since its inception. The product is called ChatGPT Gov and is specifically designed for use by the US government. The Microsoft-backed company positions this new platform as a product that is more advanced than ChatGPT Enterprise in terms of security. Kevin Weil, Chief Product Officer of OpenAI, told reporters at a briefing on Monday that it allows government agencies to run 'non-public sensitive information' through OpenAI's models in their secure, hosted environment as clients. OpenAI said that since early 2024, over 90,000 federal, state, and local government employees have generated over 18 million prompts on ChatGPT, using the technology to translate and summarize documents, write and draft policy memos, generate code, and build applications.
