Institutions: UK house asking prices see largest early-year increase since 2020

On January 20th, Jinshi Data reported that the average asking price for newly listed houses in the UK has seen the largest year-to-date increase since 2020. However, market uncertainty still looms over the pace of interest rate cuts. Rightmove stated that from December 8th to January 11th, the average price of newly listed properties increased by 1.7%, reaching £366,189 (approximately $445,944), a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
