Hana Bank of South Korea enters the encryption asset custody field through cooperation with BDACS.

PANews reported on December 30th that Kookmin Bank of Korea has reached a cooperation with the Korean digital asset custody service provider BDACS, aiming to jointly enter the field of digital assets. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on December 30th to jointly carry out a series of cooperation activities, including exploring new business opportunities in the digital asset market, sharing professional knowledge in blockchain technology, and conducting project cooperation in the field of virtual asset custody. In addition, Kookmin Bank has also acquired a stake in BDACS, but the specific shareholding ratio and investment amount have not been publicly disclosed.
