The EU imposes sanctions on individuals and entities related to Hamas and Jihad.
On June 28th, Jinshi Data reported that on the 28th, local time, the EU Council decided to impose sanctions on 6 individuals and 3 entities involved in funding Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The list of individuals includes Islamic Jihad officials, Hamas foreign investment activity responsible persons, senior officials of the 'Holy City Brigade' subordinate to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard, etc. The assets of natural persons listed in the sanctions list will be frozen within the EU and they will be prohibited from directly or indirectly receiving funds or economic resources within EU member states. In addition, natural persons on the list are also prohibited from traveling to the EU region.
