Odaily News The World Gold Council report shows that driven by a strong performance in June (+7.6 billion USD), global gold ETFs increased by 38 billion USD in the first half of the year. In the first half of the year, the total assets under management of these funds surged by 41% to reach 383 billion USD, with total holdings increasing by 397 tons to reach 3,616 tons. North America (+21 billion USD) was the main region for inflows in the first half of the year, followed by Asia (+11 billion USD) and Europe (+6 billion USD). In the first half of the year, the average gold trading volume was 329 billion USD/day, setting a record for the highest half-year volume. (Jin10)
