Chainlink Powers Botanix Mainnet Launch With CCIP and Data Infrastructure | BSCN (fka BSC News)

Chainlink officially integrated with Botanix as the Bitcoin-based Layer 2 network launched on mainnet, bringing its full suite of tools—CCIP, Data Feeds, and Data Streams—live from day one.

The Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now the official interoperability layer of Botanix. This means developers can securely move tokens and instructions between blockchains using a protocol battle-tested in the most high-value DeFi applications.

Built on Chainlink’s decentralized oracle networks (DONs), which have secured over $75 billion in DeFi TVL and processed more than $22 trillion in transaction value, CCIP allows developers to trustlessly transfer value across chains with programmable functionality.

Botanix developers now gain:

  • Secure cross-chain messaging and token transfers
  • Configurable rate limits and smart execution layers
  • Data-rich programmable transactions that execute complex instructions across chains in a single action
  • Agnostic compliance and token logic for scalable app deployment
  • Extendable, future-proof interoperability for tokens and dApps
  • Secure, permissioned access to price feeds and real-world data

“Botanix launching with day one support for Chainlink CCIP, Data Feeds, and Data Streams marks a major milestone in the evolution of BTCFi,” Chainlink Labs Chief Business Officer Johann Eid, said.

Unleashing Programmable Bitcoin Use Cases

Botanix introduces Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility directly to the Bitcoin ecosystem via the Spiderchain protocol, enabling Bitcoin-native applications like lending, yield generation, and tokenized real-world assets—without wrapping or bridging BTC.

With CCIP, these new apps can interact with other blockchain networks, expanding the reach of Bitcoin capital while maintaining security and regulatory alignment. Developers can build smart contracts that not only move funds but also carry custom instructions that automatically execute on the destination chain.

Chainlink Data Streams Bring CEX-Like Performance to DeFi

While CCIP provides the plumbing for interoperability, Chainlink Data Streams and Data Feeds serve as Botanix’s real-time data layer. These tools deliver secure, low-latency information for price feeds, market data, and more.

For BTCFi applications, where precision and execution timing are critical, latency can be the difference between profit and failure. Per reports, Data Streams offer centralized exchange-level performance while maintaining DeFi’s transparency and composability.

According to the Botanix team, this dual setup—Chainlink’s off-chain consensus for data and cross-chain transfer protocols for value—forms the backbone of Botanix’s financial infrastructure.

Chainlink’s Broader Vision

This integration comes just days after Chainlink announced its Automated Compliance Engine (ACE)—a compliance layer for both DeFi and traditional finance. Built on the Chainlink Runtime Environment, ACE introduces:

  • Smart contract-level policy enforcement
  • Cross-chain identity management
  • Programmable compliance for institutional-grade finance

Sergey Nazarov, Chainlink co-founder, described ACE as “the final critical building block” for unlocking $100 trillion in institutional capital primed for digital markets.

Also, on June 1, Chainlink announced to power Spiko’s $380 million money market funds with regulated, compliant cross-chain access.
