Hong Kong's overall export value in May rose strongly year-on-year.

Jin10 data reported on June 26, the statistics released today by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's Census and Statistics Department show that in May 2025, the overall value of Hong Kong's exports and imports recorded year-on-year increases of 15.5% and 18.9%, respectively. A spokesperson for the SAR government stated that the value of commodity exports continued to perform strongly, with a robust year-on-year rise of 15.5% in May. Looking ahead, the continued steady growth of the mainland economy, along with Hong Kong's increasingly close economic and trade ties with different markets, should provide support for trade performance.
