The U.S. Embassy in Israel "has not announced assistance for U.S. citizens to leave."

Gate News bot message, the U.S. Embassy in Israel stated in its latest security alert, "There is currently no announcement regarding assistance for U.S. citizens to evacuate." A few hours earlier, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee stated on X channel that the embassy is "arranging evacuation flights and cruise ship evacuations."

The U.S. Embassy issued the latest alert on Thursday local time, saying that the U.S. State Department "has been developing contingency plans to assist U.S. citizens in evacuating crisis areas."

The alert states: "If there is more information to share regarding exit options, we will notify the American citizen community."

The alert states that Ben Gurion Airport is still closed and provides road transit guidance.
