The U.S. government has proposed its first spending cut plan, seeking to reclaim $9.4 billion.
Gate News bot message, on June 3 local time, the White House submitted a request to Congress to retract the approved $9.4 billion expenditure, most of which is intended for foreign aid.
The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, stated that he has officially received a request from the White House to revoke $9.4 billion in wasteful foreign aid expenditures for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and others.
