Mars Financial News, A New York jury found Braden John Karony, former CEO of cryptocurrency company SafeMoon, guilty of all three felony charges, including conspiracy to defraud the United States, money laundering and wire fraud. After a trial of about two weeks, the jury reached its verdict in less than a day. Karony is accused of misappropriating millions of dollars for personal splurge during SafeMoon's soaring market capitalization. He was indicted along with former CTO Thomas Smith and platform creator Kyle Nagy, who has become a tainted witness and who has reportedly fled to Russia. Karony faces up to 45 years in prison.
