Qatar's Prime Minister: Negotiations for a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine will not make quick progress.

Jin10 reported on May 15 that on the evening of May 14 local time, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed stated in a media interview that Israel continues to launch attacks on the Gaza Strip while dispatching a negotiation delegation to participate in talks, which sends a "bad signal." Mohammed said that the release of detained individual Aidan Alexander, who holds dual nationality of the United States and Israel, is a breakthrough that will help return the ceasefire negotiations to the right track; however, Israel's attitude towards this indicates their lack of interest in the ceasefire talks. Mohammed stated that progress in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations is not expected to be achieved soon.
