Argentina abandons the crawling peg exchange rate mechanism, allowing the peso to float within a range.

Jin10 reported on April 12 that, according to a statement released by the Central Bank of Argentina on its official website, Argentina has abandoned the crawling peg exchange rate mechanism and will allow the peso to float within a range. The Argentine side also stated that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will provide $15 billion in funding support in 2025.
