Neutron has announced Mercury Upgrade, the network’s most significant update yet. The upgrade will transition Neutron from Cosmos Hub’s Interchain Security to a fully sovereign PoS network. Key improvements: — 11x higher throughput — 18x faster block times (by the end of the year) — Supervaults – an innovative liquidity provisioning mechanism — NTRN staking & liquid staking — Faster user onboarding (under 30 seconds) — 2x network TVL growth — $10M liquidity boost With Mercury, NTRN will become a more attractive asset by offering staking rewards, DeFi utility, and fee rebates while maintaining a fixed supply and ensuring that all network revenue flows into the NTRN DAO. The Mercury upgrade is set for April 9.

Neutron is set to conclude its lockdrop for USDC.axl — NTRN and ATOM — NTRN pools on Astroport on May 30th. This marks the end of the lockdrop period, during which users could lock their tokens in exchange for NTRN tokens. Following the conclusion of the lockdrop, Neutron will provide updates on the withdrawal process and the ASTRO/NTRN incentives.

Neutron is set to undergo a significant network upgrade on December 20th at 15:00 UTC. The upgrade is scheduled to take place at block height 5416000.

Neutron is set to integrate Mars Protocol, an app on its platform, with the Slinky oracle of the Skip Protocol. This integration aims to address the issues of stale oracle prices and expensive oracle price updates that are prevalent in the current pull-based oracle systems.

The Neutron’s network upgrade will take place at the block height of 10,525,000, or on May 23rd at 14:30 (UTC).
