Data 10 November 2021, total assets of the Federal Reserve balance sheet fell below $7 trillion, for the first time since August 2020, which means the Fed has reduced its balance sheet by about $2 trillion. The Fed previously stated in its latest statement that it will maintain the size of the balance sheet, which means reducing $25 billion in US Treasury bonds and $35 billion in MBS each month.
