[Salvadoran Finance Minister: No Bitcoin Purchased Since February] The Salvadoran Finance Minister and the Central Bank Governor confirmed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that since signing the financing protocol in February 2025, the government has not purchased any more Bitcoin, and the existing quantity of Bitcoin remains unchanged. The relevant Wallet Address has been provided to the IMF for monitoring. This statement contradicts President Booker's public declaration of "buying 1 Bitcoin daily." The IMF states that the increase in Bitcoin balance only reflects internal integration and does not violate financing protocols.
